Borders Food Network

Passionate about local food best describes the Borders Food Network.

The Scottish Borders produces world class food and drink and it's right here on our doorstep. Food in the Scottish Borders is produced to the highest standards and has not travelled halfway round the world to reach our places. Buying our food locally also helps to safeguard the supply of quality produce from Borders' family farms.

The Scottish Borders Food Network was set-up in 2006 and involves local food businesses (local food producers, hoteliers, restaurateurs and local food shops), committed to developing and showcasing the Region’s food. Our members produce, use on their menus or stock in their retail outlets high quality fine food & drink products from the Scottish Borders.

In May 2008, the Network members agreed and signed of the constitution of the group, you can download the PDF version of the document below.

Membership

Membership is open to any Scottish Borders food producer or provider, whose principal area of activity is situated in the Scottish Borders. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Scottish Borders Food Network, please send us an email (info@bordersfoodnetwork.co.uk) with your full contact details and brief information about your business, and we will send you an application pack.
