The snow is melting, and the march of spring is inevitable. After a great weekend and a Mother’s Day special menu, we’re busy getting geared up for Easter. All our organic Easter Eggs are now online and in the https://www.whitmuir.scot/new-in-stock section, including dairy free eggs from Moo Free! Lambing has started (see the picture below) and if you can make it out weekend we’re more than happy to introduce you to these wee guys.
The veg porch is teeming with great produce, with Swiss chard, round courgettes and Spanish blueberries all making an appearance, as well as the return of the kohl rabi! The specials this week in the cafe will be beef lasagne and turkey in a chorizo and bean sauce. We’d also love to hear what you think of our new menu!
On the 31st of March (Saturday), we’re having a easter egg hunt on the farm with a nature trail and egg painting at the yurt. The hunts will set off at 12pm and 1:30pm, with a kid’s lunch in the cafe for £5.00. We expect this to be popular so if you would like to book a place, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
